About David M. Lutz
David Lutz has been a lifelong resident of Indiana. He currently lives with his wife and children in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He received his Associate’s Degree from Indiana University in 1986. He attended Law School at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio obtaining his degree of Juris Doctor in 1989.
David Lutz returned to Indiana and worked for an insurance defense firm representing insurance companies and businesses in worker’s compensation litigation as well as personal injury litigation. After seven years he saw a large need for attorneys to represent injured workers. He left the firm and set up his current law practice in 1997.
David Lutz is the founding attorney of David M. Lutz, LLC
and focuses his practice on representing injured workers. He has represented thousands of injured workers before the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Board. He also represents injured workers and families of injured workers for personal injury claims against third parties other than the employer as well as product liability and wrongful death claims. He also represents injured workers in their claims for Social Security Disability Benefits.
David Lutz is admitted to practice law before the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Board, and in all State Courts of Indiana, the US District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
David Lutz has been practicing law since 1989 and is a member the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
